FIELD HOCKEY ♦ SOCCER ♦ SQUASH
For Students in Grades 3-5
Tuesdays and Thursdays:
3:45-4:45 PM
The Athletic Department is very excited to offer Super Skills, a new program that focuses on the growth of the Springside athlete!
Each season Super Skills will offer two-week sessions per sport that will focus on the proper development of skills for each sport. We will concentrate on the progression of skills through drills, small-sided games, and demonstrations. Only those truly interested in learning a particular sport should sign up—the coaches will be expecting 100% effort and attention!
Field Hockey:

End: Thursday, September 30th
Field hockey players should provide their own equipment: stick, mouth guard, shin guards, sneakers, cleats (optional).

The girls should go to the cafeteria when they are dismissed at the end of the school day; a snack and bottle of water will be provided. The only snack (food or beverage) allowed during the practice session is water. Extra water will be provided out on the field. The girls should be ready to start at 3:45 PM. If the outside area is unavailable, we will practice in an indoor area. At the end of the session, 3rd and 4th graders will go to their cubbies to get the things they need to take home and then will be taken to the Lower School entrance to be picked up by 5 PM. If they are not picked up by 5 PM, they will be taken to the After School Center (for a fee). If they normally go to After School, they should go and sign in at the end of the practice session. The 5th grade students will be dismissed to get their belongings and are expected to be picked up at the Middle School entrance by 5 PM. If they are not picked up by 5 PM, they will be taken to the Middle School Study Hall. If they normally go to Study Hall, they should go and sign in at the end of the practice session.
If sessions need to be limited, it will be on a first-come first-served basis.
The Super Skills program is optional and free of charge. Remember, we play rain or shine!
